Suse 9.0 on Gateway M500 15.2 lcd

Having problems loading or should I say running the Nvidia driver that came from the Nvidia website. This driver has worked well with my Mandrake 9.0 system but Suse does not make it easy to set up. Has anyone had to deal with this driver on a Wide screen notebook display. If so I could use the help learning how to set up the display.

P.S. Versa works well but who wants to use that.

Rob

"Suse does not make it easy to set up"

Oh. Wow, yeah, I feel your pain. I mean, it is soooooo difficult to run update and click the "install nvidia driver" button. I mean. They actually expect you to make 3 whole clicks just to install a driver! My god that's terrible!

Given the fact you apparantly didnt even find this feature, or any of the 5000 instructions on these forums for installing them in suse. I'd also assume you didnt read any of the 12+ forums on widescreen.

So how bout this. Go make an effort, turn on your brain. And use the search feature. Cause we're all gonna get a little sick of being asked every other day about a widescreen when we tell the same answer to every person.
