Success with SUSE 9.0 on Presario 2102US

I just finished watching the installation of SUSE 9.0 on my Presario 2102US. As an extreme Linux newbie I am not sure how good it really is but X works. The battery indicator works, etc. I didn't configure the printer and the I can't dial out yet but for me that's minor for now. I can at least start playing around.

It was very smooth. I took all the defaults. Haven't had time to really check out the ATI drivers but so far, looks good.

I've had a very difficult time getting the modem to work under Debian on my 2104US. Possible just me, but I'm beginning to think not. Not a big deal if you have high speed, but I don't, so I can't go online under Linux. Luckily I'm dual booting w/ XP
