Sound card not working on hp


Hi Everyone
I have an hp Pavilion dv3000 laptop the sound card was working but after I ran yum update the sound card is no more working. Can you help me with this problem?

alsaconfig the up grade must have changed your setting. as root type alsasctl restore. and if you want be for that in a terminal type alsamixer make sure it is not muted.
