Sony Vaio Wireless Card

So. I've searched around and around and around for this answer, and I still can't get it to work.
I have a Sony Vaio VGN - FS690 and I can't get the internal wireless card to work. I'm a semi-newbie, especially at this stuff. I am using SuSE 9.1 Professional, and I tried to get it set up through YaST, but it still isn't working. I have a "Sony Ethernet Controller" which is set up through DHCP, and that is working just dandy...but I can't get the wireless to work.
Anyone else have this problem and can share their experiences or anyone know how to help me out?
Thanks!

I am not sure what chipset you card uses, but you may need to do one of two things.

1. Recompile your kernel to support your wireless card.

or - if it is not supported

2. Use a program called ndiswrapper. This is a program that allows you to load your MS drivers for the card using linux. A bit fiddly, but worth the experience!
