Sony Vaio VGN - NR32M Wireless Problems

Hello all

This is my first post as i have just joined LQ .

Anyway, to the problem.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN - NR32M laptop and i have recently just installed ubuntu on it. Unfortunately the wireless is not working.

The wireless switch is turned on but it is not picking anything up. I have testing a wired connection and this works fine.

When i click on the network manager icon in the taskbar it only shows the heading "Wired Network -- Auto eth0" which is the NIC.

I have also tried to use some tool called ndiswrapper this also did not work for me.

If somebody could tell me how to get this working I would greatly appreciate it!

Many thanks to all who reply...
