I have a Sony Vaio FRV37 Laptop and have been trying to convert over to linux on it. The only thing that I have not been able to get working properly is Suspend/Hibernation.
Has anyone gotten a Sony FRV series laptop to suspend or hibernate with recent kernels?

Did you check the site Linux On Laptops which I have a link for in my signature?
Many people tell their Linux install success story so other people can benefit from the installs at that site.
Originally posted by Jerrac Yes, I believe I have checked that site many times. Never found anything to help me. I just checked it again and didn't find anything to help....
Thanks for the reply, I was starting to wonder if anyone was ever going to....
Jerrac states ubuntu is elite for FRV37 Sony VAIO laptops.
Lol, that was me. And ubuntu is the best distro I have tried so far. But suspend and hibernation won't work in it with the latest release. I think on the Hoary RC hibernation worked somewhat.... Can't remember for sure....
