Smart Battery System driver


hey guys whats up.. iam currently running ubuntu on my notebook because it seems to support most of the new hardware i have on it.. but it doesnt have support for 2 things..the battery and the wireless

the wireless i know i have to use ndiswrapper

but the battery.. this is news to me.. from what i have been hearing from people i have to install something called the "Smart Battery System driver" now i did a google search on it and i found this web site http://www.hypercore.co.jp/opensource/linux-sbs/ but this doesnt make sense to me how to install this.. it doesnt have any help whats so ever..

so iam just wondering has anyone worked with this program? if so would u mind helping me out a bit.. this is my first time installing linux on a laptop and its not fun LOL
