Slow response to mouse clicks on Dell Latitude D830 with openSUSE 11.2
I have a Dell Latitude D830, and have installed openSUSE 11.2 alongside of Windoze XP. I can post detailed hardware descriptions if necessary. Most everything works fine, except for one thing, there are absurd response issues on the thing! It can take up to five minutes in some cases to respond to a mouse click, during which time you can't do anything else with it. Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know of a fix?
Sorry, never had that exact issue but I'd check the driver that the mouse is using, could be incorrect (i.e. defaulted to a mouse driver that it shouldn't use)
Are there CPU, RAM or SWAP unusuallities shown at system monitors like top ?
How is your X86/xorg/Xvesa configured ?
I also had this problem while installing suse-live on two laptops.
The live-performance was o.k.
For the moment I quit suse and only install on more robust desktop PC.
