Slackware 14.2 - Touchpad not working

I've upgraded my Fujitsu laptop to Slackware 14.2, but my touchpad is not working at all.
It seems that the touchpad is detected as a PS2 mouse because the output of xinput is :

â¡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
â â³ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
â â³ ImPS/2 Generic Wheel Mouse id=17 [slave pointer (2)]
â â³ Logitech K750 id=11 [slave pointer (2)]
â â³ Logitech M215 id=12 [slave pointer (2)]
⣠Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
â³ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
â³ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)]
â³ Fujitsu FUJ02E3 id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
â³ Video Bus id=8 [slave keyboard (3)]
â³ Fujitsu FUJ02B1 id=9 [slave keyboard (3)]
â³ Power Button id=10 [slave keyboard (3)]
â³ FJ Camera id=15 [slave keyboard (3)]
â³ AT Translated Set 2 keyboard id=16 [slave keyboard (3)]
â³ Speakup id=18 [slave keyboard (3)]

The synclient ends with the message "Couldn't find synaptics properties. No synaptics driver loaded?".

Can anyone give some help?
Thanks in advance.

Adding a line as:
append = "i8042.notimeout i8042.nomux"

in lilo.conf solved the issue.
