slack 10.2 installation problem on laptop with winXp

Hi guys,

I tried to install a slack 10.2 to my laptop, but unfortunately it didnt work at all. I read all the articles on forums before, but no positive end!!! Now i have no slack :( and another problem no winxp. i have no idea what is going on with my system and any help of you would appreciate.

the things which I did:
I have 80 gb of HD, and i tried to partition it through Partition Magic. I had 24 gb (ntfs) for Windows, 5 gb with fat32 system, rest i made with ext2 for linux and then there was a option to make a swap to linux partition, which was made on the first part (before my System Disk (C), where my WinXp is) of my HD. After that i rebooted laptop, and there was a promt that Windows has a problem with booting....
I tried to recovery the windows with installation CD, but i coudnt get any positive results. Another thing, during recovery with winXp cd i deleted all partition, except for Disk C, where windows folder is. Now my HD has first part unpartitioned with 1 gb, then disk c (ntfs)24 gb, and the rest as well unpartitioned.
Please, advice me what was made wrong and there is a option to recovery my WinXp again???
