I have a Laptop MSI S250 and in this one there is a Graphic card SIS S661MX.
The probleme is that I can't configur it in the installation of mandrake 10.0.
When i do the test of the interface graphic I see lot of color's line, so I can't use it.
Please tell me how I can configur my Graphic card to have a good interface.
Thanks
by the way mine works under vesa for 661 on suse just fine, might want to consider suse 9.3 or 10 very nice , i got an averatec 6100a, you can read my post its a new one, however i cant get any distro to work.
if you stick with mandrake you got the real 256 chipset on the graphics configuration for the 10.1 version, but the drivers still dont work. still got to replace it for thomas's.
well, i have SUSE 10.0 and everything works fine. I do not understand much of grafikdrivers, but why should i need the ones from Thomas if they do not enable more than i already have? or even, which features are missing on my suse 10.0, dispite of the 3d acceleration?
well like i said before quentin, suse 9.3 and 10 do the job almost, problem is the x and y settings too, u wont be able to start up wine properly or many other programs due to the hertz on these parameters, thomas' dirver fixes that on mandrake. on suse i yet have to figure out these parameters, im looking it up as i write this too.
