If you use ndiswrapper you may need to configure your kernel to 8K stack, because many Windows drivers don't work in 4K stack which is always default. Can you show your dmesg when you modprobe your driver?

As I said, I sold my macbook and opted for a more linux-friendly portable device. I wish I knew why it wasn't working though. This is gonna drive me crazy!
