Setting up Broadcom wireless on Fedora

When I run the wireless setup utility, it seems to find the chipset. Now I am having trouble setting up the rest for card. Like Windows says that the IRQ is 17, but linux only goes to 15. Is this right?

Is linux really finding the right chipset?

Can anyone help?

Phil

I'm not familiar with Fedora but it seems to me that if the driver loads you are on your way. Now, just like in Windows, you have set create a connection to a specific access point/router.

Food for thought. The reason that I changed to PCLinuxOS is because it is so easy to set up a wireless NIC and make connections to access points.

Broadcom driver

I am running a dell 9100 on Fedora 7 and it works great 802.11 B but it is a ABG card and I can't get the other two to work.
