I installed Fedora 5 on a Sony Vaio VGN-B3XP.

I was running WinXP before, and had 1400x1050 resolution.

I can't semm to figure out how to do it with Fedora.

if I go to System > Preferences > Screen resolution, the max screen resolution is 1024x768.

I tried to play with System > Administration > Display, and then go back, but no luck.

I installed 915resolution + a similar tool, but they don't semm to work for me.

can anybody help?

I know this is a common problem, as I have spent days reading all the forums. I tried as many things as I could, but nothing works.

any idea?
