Samsung X30

When I install manadrake 10.1 to my Samsung X30 laptop, it unable to detect the modem.

The modem model is 82801DB AC97 - which is not listed in the drivers provided by mandrake.

Any idea to fix this problem?

tracywebb; googled custom found reference to mdk10 & 82801DB ac97 which is an intel controller type modem that is located on page 7 of google/custom entering modem-model
82801DB AC97 being used by some one with a MaxData Pro 6100x & mdk10. hope that helps. also try intels site for driver for mdk10

tracywebb & all samsung users; attention: from online & phone via C.S.Rep; samsung no longer supports laptops in USA. so beware of any problems there after. 11/09/04 5:43pm
pst. the 1 particular was attempting to gather information on was the X30 with
modem model# 82801DB AC97. no matter how or where i tried no results
until calling customer service then found
they(laptops) are unsupported.

would either attempt to verify via Samsung`s Main Office. took their customer service represenative,s word.
Attempted to find information via online
to no avail. Thank You moderators.
