Sabayon 8 amd64k start problem on HP pavillion g6 1313ax laptop
 

Hi there, it's a weird problem I'm facing now a days. I've got Sabayon Linux 8 x86_64 version, & wish to install it on a HP Pavillion G6 1313AX laptop (have dual graphics). The DVD runs proper (also tried it on other computers), but when I try to start the live boot session, or the graphical installer, the computer seems to be booting up, but ultimately comes down to a terminal type of thing, with a blinking cursor & no command prompt. Trying to type anything there also failed. I've tried to start with 'nomodeset', that has failed too! Please Help!

There may be a problem with drivers that is fixed already. Try Sabayon 10 instead and look if that works.
