Running fc3 on fujitsu laptop want to update to fc5

Is there a way without having to burn new dvds to update my laptop from fc3 to fc5 using Yum? or apt-get?

I know the easiest way is to burn a new set of disks but I would prefer to learn something new by trying to update it somehow through yum or apt-get. If there is a way I would like to know what repository I would have to add to the conf files to allow this kind of update.

Thankyou
