RH9 XF86Config file for Dell Inspiron 4000

Afternoon chaps (and chapesses),

I'm hoping someone can assist me here. Several issues on my laptop stem from the fact that I am using a generic VESA display driver.

I have tried using the r128 (For the ati mobility card) but it complains about having no usable displays.

I have tried muiltiple configurations of the XF86Config file that I have sourced from the web but to no avail.

Does anyone have a working XF86Config file for a Dell Inspiron 4000 laptop (with 15" screen) please!?!

Thank you in advance.

Richard
