Unhappy RF-kill: Hardblock is too hard

Hello.

I'm unable to use wifi on my notebook due to bug in killswitch support. There seems to be no way to disable the hardblock.

I have a HPNX6310 notebook with a wireless-button. When I start the pc, the blue LEDs (one on the button, the other on the front panel) are down, rfkill says:
Code:
[an00bis ~]$ rfkill list
1: hp-wifi: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: yes
2: hp-bluetooth: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: yes
3: phy0: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: yes
When I press the button, both LEDs go on, rfkill says:
Code:
[an00bis ~]$ rfkill list
1: hp-wifi: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
2: hp-bluetooth: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
3: phy0: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: yes
5: hci0: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
Dmesg says:
Code:
usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
usb 2-1: New USB device found, idVendor=03f0, idProduct=171d
usb 2-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
usb 2-1: Product: HP Integrated Module
usb 2-1: Manufacturer: Broadcom Corp
The hardblock on phy0 just never goes away. I tried echoing 0 to rfkill's /sys entry:
Code:
[root testrun2]$ ll /sys/class/rfkill/rfkill3/state
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 4096 Nov 15 10:56 /sys/class/rfkill/rfkill3/state
[root testrun2]$ echo 0 > /sys/class/rfkill/rfkill3/state
[root testrun2]$ cat /sys/class/rfkill/rfkill3/state
2
But no effect.

Anyone had a similar problem? Can you give me some hints what to do? I really think this is a bug in some WLAN driver.

My system:
Fedora 13
