redhat won't boot
I installed linux on a dell inspiron 1100 a couple of weeks ago. Everything was fine except for the screen resolution. I set it aside and decided to try to fix it later. I went to try to fix the problem today and when booting up, the computer hangs up at "configuring kernal parameters". When I try to boot from a cd I get the "press any key to boot from cd message", but after doing this the screen remains blank. I don't even know if I can reinstall anything at this point. What happened?
