Problems with onboard soundcard on my Acer Travelmate 2300
 
Hi,
I have an Acer travelmate 2300 lappy,with an onboard Intel AC 97 soundcard. The problem is that its drivers don't seem to have been included. I checked out the OEM site,but couldn't locate the drivers.Is there a central repository or something from where it can be obtained.Please advise.

Try this command as root:

modprobe snd-intel8x0
That loads the driver for all Intel onboard cards.
