Problem with Philips freevents X3

I'm installing Debian Etch in a Philips freevents X53 laptop. The installation process was fine. Then, when I start the laptop, loads lilo, init, but I can't start the system. It's freezed in this line:

EXT3 FS on sda1, internal journal
Setting the system clock again..

Does anybody know waht can I do?
