Im using Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 beta version when i use the nv drive the image quality and resolution is very good, but when a install the official nvidia driver version 9755 (last released) the image and resolution continues good, but i turn to a console(Ctrl+Alt+Fx) the screen always flicking and the beryl get crash.
i do not know more what to make, i think about giving up...
Hmmm.. Not sure what exactly to suggest, but it's only your first post, and already you are wanting to give up?? Jeepers.
You're using as BETA operating system, and last I checked, Beryl was still a BETA as well, so when both are combined, there is bound to be problems. Maybe you should choose more proven-stable software if you aren't prepared to work on it for a while.. Or, don't press Ctrl-Alt-Fx. Or check thru the xorg.0.log file for possible indicators as to what caused the error: /var/log/xorg.0.log
The Beryl Website or forum may have some information on the subject, or you could check the Ubuntu Users Forum Website, or the Ubuntu forum here on LQ, and maybe you could file a bug report with the folks at Beryl, and they may have a solution for you

I used the edgy version, with the same problem, in feisty the quality of the image I was very better
I have a Pavillion TX1210US notebook running Fedora 8. When I tried to install the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.07-pkg1.run driver it seemed to work well in graphics mode, but display flickered in console (text) mode. Has anybody found a solution for this?
I have a dim memory of seeing something like this.
Two things to try:
1. Be sure that you have the correct scan rates in /etc/xorg.conf
2. Try re-booting and logging in to "single user" mode:
Reboot
When the grub menu appears*, enter "e" for edit, select the kernel line, "e" again to edit this line
add the word "single" at the end of the line, enter, and then "b" to boot
See if there is flickering when X has never been started.
From the single-user mode, enter "init 5" to go the a GUI login.
*You may first need to hit escape to get out of a graphical menu
