Problem Upgrading Kali Linux Persistence USB
Hello everyone,
yesterday i downloaded kali linux and installed it on my usb as presistence i ran the apt-get update command and it downloaded somethings. then i ran the apt-get upgrade -y command and it said that it had to do 902 upgrades so i left it be and it literally took 9 hrs to download and unpack and then it got stuck at one Unpack so i pressed Ctrl + C and it stopped. i shut it down and now when i try to boot it, it give me a black screen with cursor and when i click it on something it goes to the boot text and just shows that. what is the problem? sorry for bad english. |
try the steps outlined here: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread....0#post13549190

from grub, boot into recovery mode.
might have to hold down shift (after bios messages) to see the grub menu. |
