Unhappy problem running KDE - caught signal 4


hi all
i have installed debian and when tried to run startx , it crushed and gave the error : caught signal 4 server aborting
i run : " cat $HOME/.xsession-errors | less"
the result :
DCOPServer up and running
kdeinit : fatal IO error : client killed
kdeinit : sending SIGHUP to children
KLuncher : exting on signal 1
kdeinit : sending SIGTERM to children
kdeinit : exit

anyone can advice ?

While that error log is helpful, we need some more info. Can you give the output from /var/log/Xorg.0.log? There may have been some error with X and that was passed to KDE.
