problem in loading the login screen

i installed the mandriva powerpack 2009 successfully in my lenovo G450 laptop.but after booting a black screen appears and no further loading of the login screen.please help to solve the problem.

When you get to the black screen does CTRL+ALT+F1 do anything? This should send you to a console tty1. It won't be a GUI, but at least you can start doing some debugging from that. Also when you say "After Booting" what screens specifically do you see while booting, is it just a lenovo screen, or do you also see a mandriva screen?
