Unhappy Prob after installing Fedora in Lenovo laptop

I installed Fedora 7 in lenovo 776137Q .
But after installing when i reboot, the X server fails saying "Unconfigured mouse". I re-installed Fedora as i was frustrated. then after rebooting keypad was not working... So cant use it..

And now i booted live CD Ubuntu 6.10. Keypad not working!!

What model Thinkpad? Google it and "fedora", see if anyone has the same problem.

I can tell you my mouse worked out of the box with Debian 4.0 on a Thinkpad R61.
