Please help in recovering my laptop

Hi ,

I've Dual booted my laptop with Vista and RHEL. I've partitioned my Vista hard disk to 10 GB and allocated to Redhat and installed Redhat on it. When i start my laptop it loads grub and i automatically set vista to start by default.

Now by mistake my friend deleted the disk from disk management in vista. When i restarted , it just loads the grub and i can see only grub> prompt at startup. I was not able to even enter into setup mode. What i have to do to disable Grub at the startup to recover my laptop with vista.

Thanks in advance

your friend would've deleted a linux partition(where the grub configuration files resides)

Boot from windows cd, there'll be an MBR repair( possibly in recovery console) option.
