PCMCIA Hard Drive (EZ-Gig)
HELP!!
I recently bought an EZ-Gig kit to upgrade my laptop hd. This worked great in Windoze and after the transfer I was able to reboot the new drive (after restoring LILO) and the old drive is now seen as another hd.
I would like to be able to access this drive in Linux.
I am using PCLinuxOS .92 (a fork of Mandriva) 2.6.13 kernel.
KDE system info shows the pcmcia as an ata/ide hard drive but it does not show when I fdisk -l.
Any ideas how i can access and then mount this drive in Linux?
serge
BTW: Just loaded a live CD of Puppy Linux. See's this drive fine.
Wazz up with that??
UPDATE: Loaded Knoppix and it sees the drive too. What are these two doing that PCLOS is not?? Any sugggestions?
