yep, it's running but I'm at the end of ideas for telling you what version, perhaps it can be determined from what version of what distro you're using...

Oops!

Ok, sorry, but I completely forgot about the modinfo thing, this will tell about the module. As root, do a "modinfo pcmcia_core", it should return more than you ever wanted to know about the module
