Question Palm (tungsten t3) not syncing, fedora core 4

Hi all,

I have recently installed fedora core 4 and would like to be able to sync my palm (tungsten t3, palm os 5.2.1) via usb (standard cradle). I have installed jpilot and pilot-link, but when I try to set up my connection, pilot-link crashes.

If I can get this up and working, I would appreciate advice on getting a linux equivalent of documents to go, or some workaround, as I use this a lot.

Thanks,

Laura Rhian.

Since this was asked a week ago, I'm not sure if you've figure this one out. But with USB connections, you must initiate the sync from the cradle/device first and THEN hit the Sync button in JPilot. The problem is that the device does not exist until after you active the syncing process. If you had a serial port connection, then you could start the syncing process from JPilot first.

Unless when you say "pilot-link crashes", you mean something else entirely different.
