Optimizing battery life
I'm running ArkLinux (KDE-based), and I'm constantly coming across other Ark users who complain that their battery consumption is far greater than with Windoze. I am surprised at this and find this hard to believe because I personally find that Ark uses less battery than Windoze. However, I'd like to be able to advise these people on how to improve their battery power, possibly improve on my own battery usage. Any suggestions appreciated here.

In my opinion the live span of battery depends on the way you use it.
The old battery type has a kind off memory When you charge it before it is really empty you lose some power and if you do this a lot of times it keep reducing it power So if you use this type it is better to discharge some times until it is really empty The newer battery the manufacture claim that this problem is solved , but on the other hand nearly every material has a more or less a memory aqll the best |
