Question Old Laptop For Web Apps

Hi There,

I have an old Dell Latitude C610 that doesn't have too much guts in it. I have tried running Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Good OS, and a few others on it but did not work. I currently run Puppy Linux. Puppy runs well on it, but I am not attracted by its looks. I only need it for web apps such as gmail, zoho, google docs, calendar, meebo, etc as well as surfing. Basically, I want a nice looking really light linux distro. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thank you
