nokia n810

I am thinking about buying the nokia n810 internet tablet. Has anyone bought it recently? If you have how is skype with the diablo update and can I connect it to my pc or mac via usb? If I can connect it via usb, what is it read as? Last but not least, is it worth it and does it have the potential to be the next version of cellphones?

i have an n800. haven't used skype. there's no need to connect it via usb; i haven't tried. you can ssh into it though, and you can mount your pc's directories via nfs, set up a vnc server/client, etc. it won't be a cellphone because it isn't one. it pretty much acts as a linux laptop.

yes, for what i use it for--basically as an ultraportable laptop. it does most common things that i usually use a laptop for for cheap. a bluetooth keyboard greatly enhances this purpose.
