nokia 6110 navigator to connect to the internet on Lenovo N200 running ubuntu hardy

Hi all Im new here,
Im trying to use my nokia 6110 Navigator using usb cable as a modem in a freshly installed ubuntu hardy.

I've followed

However, when i connect, it just connects for 6 seconds, and it then disconnects.
Looking at the log files, it just says it exited with (code = 16)
which just means that the modem hung up.

Any help will be appreciated.

provided me with ample information to get dial up working using my phone as a modem.

This is a general tutorial, so should work for any gprs enabled phone.

P.S
It connects faster and and much less hassles as when using the phone software in windows to connect.
