New wireless card for a HP DV5215us

I currently have a Broadcom wireless card with the bcm4318 chipset and I'd like to replace it with something that works out of the box in Linux (using Ubuntu currently). The laptop is an HP DV5215us.

Any ideas what my options are?

The broadcom 4318 _is_ supported with the b43 kernel module.

You need not expect to see any of them fall into place automatically. But a little work usually does it.

Worked in the previous 2 versions but 9.10 is another fail. My USB wireless works without doing anything too. Do any other wireless cards? It's not worth my time to mess with it if I can get something that just works.

Ubuntu-9.10 is just one big mess of problems from what I hear. Here's a link from slashdot. Probably something similar on LQ if you knew where to find it.
