Network Manager issue : Does not distinguish between wired and wireless network
I have installed Fedora 9 on my Acer Aspire laptop. I use Network Manager ( 0.7 version i guess, not very sure) for managing my network connection. Earlier I had a wireless connection but recently I have moved to a wired connection. Whenever Network Manager starts, it turns on the LED on my laptop which is meant for wireless even though I am using a wired connection. It should actually not turn on the LED. This problem does not occur in Windows XP. Is this a bug or is Network Manager not smart enough to distinguish?
