Network issues

I have a previous post entitled "working in a windows domain" and this issue may be related, but I don't know really.

I have Fedora Core 1 running on a Dell Inspiron 8000. There are two Nic's, one built in 10/100 (Intel I think) and an Orinoco gold Wireless PCMCIA card. The issue happens on both.

I am able to see the computers in our domain just fine, (but browsing them only works on my subnet, that's another matter though). If the machine is left alone a while and it shuts down the screen, etc., when I come back I am unable to find any netwrk servers at all. Rebooting the machine fixes the problem.....what gives?
