Question Netgear Wireless Card Compatability with Linux

I have a Netgear WG511 wireless PCMCIA card, and I was just wondering if it would be compatible with Linux. I'm going to dual boot with Win XP and Linux on my laptop and just needed to know what files or drivers i would need to do this? I looked in the booklet that came with the card, and it didn't say anything about Linux.

Thankyou in advance for your help

The Netgear WG511 appears to be a Cardbus device based on the Prism GT chipset. This device should be supported by the 2.6 kernels.

The LQ Linux HCL has tons of info for various hardware compatibility questions/issues. Here's the link for this particular Netgear item: WG511
