Thumbs up Netgear WG511v2 Wireless PCMCIA card on Kubuntu

After extensive aggravation, I finally got the MADE IN TAIWAN version of the WG511v2 PCMCIA wireless card to work on (k)ubuntu, and wrote the instructions out in detail. You can find the instructions out on my blog.. If this works for you, PLEASE tell me either here, or on the site.

Thank you, and have a pleasant day!
I'm going to walk off and unplug for a while. My head hurts.. lol

hm

Well, I tried a bunch of stuff of the internet, and couldn't get the drivers to work. Then I couldn't find them. Everyone says "Use the cd. Use the cd"

Oh well, at least mine is driven for (k)ubuntu tho.. :P
