it sounds like you're slowly making your system unusable.
i hope you remembered any change you made, and can unmake it again. (edit: it seems i misunderstood op - i thought there's an actual problem with the driver, but afaiu op is just annoyed with the black screen and delay while the driver loads. so the previous sentences are bs).
then, start from scratch, properly: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Bi...iverHowto2FATI
Thanks EDDY1 for the replay but im not accepting with you this is normal to see blank screen when booting for switching operation because i used other distrubtion with the fglrx driver and this not happen before im sure there is abug in 15.04 distrubtion and fglrx driver i dont know what this bug exacttlt i tryed to solve by the way you imagine and you dont imagine-)) without reach to a good resaults
The system with xserver packages for the graphic cards boot without any problemes its only happen when the fglrx driver is installed with xserver-video-radeon and xserver-video-ati works fine but i want to work by my gpu graphic so i should install fglrx but no luck with me.
I see a blank screen when booting Ubuntu 15.04 and 15.10 on my HP s3707c (onboard GeForce 9100 graphics). Fedora doesn't blank on me, but I don't consider Ubuntu's behavior a problem, as it displays the lightdm greeter properly once the boot process has concluded
im sure there is abug in 15.04 distrubtion and fglrx driver i dont know what this bug exacttlt i tryed to solve by the way you imagine and you dont imagine-)) without reach to a good resaults
Quote:
Don't rush to claim that you have found a bug
When you are having problems with a piece of software, don't claim you have found a bug unless you are very, very sure of your ground. Hint: unless you can provide a source-code patch that fixes the problem, or a regression test against a previous version that demonstrates incorrect behavior, you are probably not sure enough.
(...)
Remember, there are many other users that are not experiencing your problem. Otherwise you would have learned about it while reading the documentation and searching the Web (you did do that before complaining, didn't you?). This means that very probably it is you who are doing something wrong, not the software.
The people who wrote the software work very hard to make it work as well as possible. If you claim you have found a bug, you'll be impugning their competence, which may offend some of them even if you are correct. It's especially undiplomatic to yell “bug” in the Subject line.
When asking your question, it is best to write as though you assume you are doing something wrong, even if you are privately pretty sure you have found an actual bug. If there really is a bug, you will hear about it in the answer. Play it so the maintainers will want to apologize to you if the bug is real, rather than so that you will owe them an apology if you have messed up.
ondoho i tryed to solve this probleme with all ways i can searching edit the grub, changing the kernel, changing fglrx version ,edit xorg search all whole system about every thing can effect the graphic section can you tell me what is mean ubuntu-gnome splash screen loading dissapear for 7 seconds and reback to continue loading. bug this or what
this is abug because i changing the distrubtion and fglrx work fine on the other distrubtion so your team should search about this or what ever they do
