Need recommendation of PCMCIA wireless NIC for use with ndiswrapper

The topic kinda says it all.
Can anyone recommend a card that works with as
little hassle as possible with ndiswrapper?

Any particular reason you don't get a wireless NIC with open source drivers?

See here:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-hardware-18/which-wireless-nic-pci-card-works-good-with-ubuntu-660678/

and here:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/WirelessCardsSupported
,

Both are relevant for Ubuntu. Please tell us what distro you are running? And the spec of your machine?

Nah, I was just living under the impression that cards with
Open drivers were rare, but now I'll definitely take both lists into
consideration. Thanks.

As for the distro:
I'd like one that doesn't require internet access to install,
that includes ndiswrapper (as a last resort, if nothing else)
and tools for programming (gcc and such). Packet handlers
are nice, but I have no phobia against simply compiling what I need.
I find Ubuntu and similar distros a bit too userfriendly, but don't
have the patience to install really tricky ones like Gentoo.
Other than that, I have no real preference.
