Need help configuring driver for Inspiron E1405

I just got a Dell Inspiron 1405 and installed Kubuntu. It's generally working great, but I have one problem - I have a widescreen, and everything looks stretched. I dual-boot this machine, and in Windows, everything looks fine, so I assume it's a driver problem. The card is a Intel 945 GM Express and the driver is the default VESA driver. I've tried changing the display from 4:3 to widescreen (16:9) in the system settings, but it will not let me apply the settings. I'm fairly new to Linux and not exactly sure how to install drivers, but I'm happy to give it a shot if someone points me in the right direction. If it's any help, I've posted below my xorg.conf file.
Thank you.

/etc/X11/xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the /etc/X11/xorg.conf manual page.
# (Type "man /etc/X11/xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
# package.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following command:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

You probably need to use the i810 driver instead of vesa.
