Mobility Radeon drivers

Is anyone aware, are there Linux drivers for the ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 card yet? I've got a laptop (eMachines M6805) with a WXGA display, native 1280x800 and I've not been able to utilize it due to having to use a standard res. like 1024x768. Anybody know of any workarounds? Preferably a driver or fix that works across distros, since I have Red Hat 9, Mandrake 9.2, and SuSE 8.2?

Thanks a ton.
