My experience is that most hotspots use a domain name rather than an IP address. If your school is smart and all of their hotspots work off of the same domain, and exception like *.myschool.edu might work.

I know they use a few, and now and then they change. I know one (two if you count the lab I'm rarely near). But I'll see how many I can figure out!
