Question Mandrake 9.1 dell 8100 display bug

Hey, guys. Any help here?

I have a dell inspiron 8100. Installed Mandrake 9.1. Just fine. However, when I configure the display, I have problems:

If i configure it 1600 x 1200 (max resolution) It runs, but i can see some annoying lines on the left of the screen. However, if i use a lower resolution, X's area takes a portion of the display and not the whole display.

How can I solve it??? :'(

Thanks in advance.
