Mandrake 10 Only recognizing 256 RAM on a T22


Hello, I have a T22 with 512 MB of RAM but for some reason Mandrake 10 community is only recognize 256. What can I do to fix this?

Try adding an option mem=512M to the linux boot command. First try from lilo. Assuming the item you normally boot is called linux then pressing ESC and typing linux mem=512M ENTER should work. If this works then edit your /etc/lilo.conf file and add the mem=512M to the end of the line append="..." in the section with label="linux". Then run lilo as root to update LILO.
