Mandrake 10.1


I tried to install Mandrake 10,1 to my laptop, and at the end of the installat
ion, it says, that it was succesful, but the operating system doesn't begin. There is a windows in the laptop too, but the partitioning is good I think. I don't know liux very much. Could you help me, what should can be the r I do, and what can the reason of the failure. Thanks, Berci

Give more precise details. Did you install a bootloader to the mbr?

do you have a blank screen?

Have you set one partition up as bootable?

can you use a floppy or a cd to boot?

Most likely you haven't configured the boot loader.
