Question looking for out of box linux compatible wi-card.


Here is my specs

hp pavillion xh535 notebook
linux fedora core 4
belkin wireless g router

Does anyone have any info on what wi-card would be "out of the box" compatible. Any help is greatly appreciated. Feel free to post more questions if needed....Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!

Ready to run cards for fc4 can be tricky. only familiar with older cards like orinoco silver and golds, linksys prism2 cards. Just about any will work with the ndiswrapper module. Easy to install as long as you have your current kernel source code on the drive. Lots of info here on this and other sites. Atheos cards are nice using madwifi modules like linksys wpc55ag.
