Linux supported USB DVD RW?


Hi group,

I need to create a DVD on my laptop which does not have a DVD RW. So I plan to purchase a USB encloser and use an Sony DRUV202A drive.

Will this work??

In general, any USB CDROM enclosure with an internal IDE interface should work.

I think it will work no matter what. I have a samsung super-writemaster (se-s184) and it works fine.
